This project aims to achieve comprehensive, complete and overall socio-economic development of the underprivileged rural community through an extensive application and use of Information Communication Technology. At present, there are 44 Prajasakthi Centers in operation. The first Centre was established at Wanarajah estate in 2006. Accordingly, this project integrates the educational, social and cultural activities of the plantation community facilitating the use of technology as a catalyst to transform the community. The number of students registered island in the 44 Prajasakthi centers is 2090.
